Probate / Administration of Estates

We look after the administration of estates where a Will has been left and also where there is no Will (an intestacy). We act for personal representatives in winding up an estate and deal with the administration of the Estate from start to finish.

Our work includes obtaining full details of an Estate and a valuation of assets, preparing inheritance tax returns, obtaining probate (where there is a Will) or letters of administration (where there is an intestacy), realising assets and paying debts, settling tax, preparing Estate accounts and distributing the estate.

Deeds of variation and tax avoidance (which is legitimate) as opposed to tax evasion (which is not) may be considered.
