After
six years we may destroy papers relating to completed matters at any time and
without reference to the client concerned. This excludes wills, deeds
and other valuable documents.
If
your file is more than six years old then it may have been shredded.
Shredding is currently carried out by Keeble Confidential who provide us
with Certificates of Destruction.
If
you would like to have access to any documents or would like any
assistance on a matter relating to an old file which we may still be
holding at our office, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will
seek to retrieve it from our archive system.
