We look after
the administration of estates where a Will has been left and also where
there is no Will (an intestacy). We act for personal representatives in
dealing with the administration of the Estate from
start to finish or we are happy to get involved part way through the
administration if, for example, the personal representatives are having
difficulty in dealing with matters themselves.
Our probate work includes obtaining full details of an
Estate and a valuation of assets, preparing inheritance tax returns,
obtaining a Grant of Probate (where there is a Will) or Letters of Administration
(where there is an intestacy), realising assets and paying debts,
settling tax, preparing Estate accounts and distributing the estate.
Our probate solicitor can assist with Deeds of Variation where there is a Will or where there is not.
